We would like to invite you to the opening of a group exhibition titled
"Displacement"
by 17 Bahraini Emerging Artists on the 27th March,2013 at 7pm at abcad and Albareh Art Gallery.
The exhibition explores displacement and all its associated impacts such as identity, belonging, alienation, and the individual's position in society.
It is the result of a project mentored by curator, Mo Reda. He began his work in mid-January 2013 with a selected group of promising local artists. The process in itself pushed these emerging artists further by challenging them to outreach and stretch their own creative process while confronting the concept of Displacement.
"Displacement" will open to the public from the 27th of March until the 7th of April, 2013.
Tamkeen and the Economic Development Board of Bahrain support this project.
